Media Still Ignores Studies Showing Abortion Hurts Women

From LifeSite News:

You would think that when researchers at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the University of Pennsylvania determine that something nearly TRIPLES a woman’s breast cancer risk, it would be big news.

But not if that “something” is abortion.

As LifeNews reported this week, a recent peer-reviewed study shows that abortion nearly triples a woman’s risk of breast cancer. That means 54 of 67 epidemiological studies now demonstrate a link between abortion and breast cancer.

Of course, this is not the first study that the mainstream media has ignored. Numerous other studies also demonstrate the concrete fact that abortion harms women—both physically and psychologically.

  1. The cancer society says that abortions triple the risk for breast cancer is a false allegation. They claim that this is a pro life propaganda. However I do believe it does have emotional repercussions. It would be nice if both men and women wait until they find the right person and get married. When the right person does finally come along you do not want baggage from past failed relationships to keep you from enjoying marriage and children. I feel fortunate that my husband and I mutually agreed that we do not want children. We have been married for 29 years and no regrets. Please do not tell me I don’t know what I am missing. That is between me and my husband.

    1. Georgia, the breast cancer-abortion link is not false. It has been verified by longitudinal studies. The cancer society’s statement does not stand up to the facts. The abortion industry has very strong financial reasons to deny abortion’s link with breast cancer, and it has a long history of suppressing facts and influencing public policy for its own profit. I recommend clicking the abortion tag in our sidebar as well as checking our archives for more articles on this topic. As for your personal choice not to have children, no one here is interfering with that. What you and your husband choose is your own business and always has been. Many people have chosen sterility from ancient times. However, we are pro-children here and love to share the joys of family, so if you don’t want to read about having children, there are plenty of other places to turn your attention. 🙂 We will continue to share about the long-term emotional devastation of abortion, because this is a topic that needs to be shared on a wider scale. There are tens of thousands of women hurting because of their choice to abort. We can’t ignore them.
